The Bavella massif, with its famous granite peaks, is one of the top canyoning destinations in Corsica. But between Pulischellu, Purcaraccia, and La Vacca, which one should you choose?
Whether you are visiting with your family, an athlete seeking thrills, or a nature lover who enjoys spectacular landscapes, there is a canyon perfectly suited to you.
In this guide, we help you decide with a clear and detailed comparison.

Why choosing the right canyon matters
Each Bavella canyon has its own unique character:
Pulischellu – Accessible and fun, perfect for families with children from 7 years old. You can experience it in a sporty way by doing all the possible jumps and slides, or enjoy a more relaxed descent at your own pace, skipping obstacles that feel too challenging.
Purcaraccia – Famous for its natural slides and impressive waterfalls, more technical, recommended from 11 years old. This is a very open canyon facing south, with stunning views and crystal-clear pools carved into orange granite.
La Vacca – Wild and sporty, for thrill-seekers and lovers of pristine nature. A more enclosed canyon with beautiful gorges and numerous jumps along the way.
By choosing the right canyon, you maximise both your enjoyment and your safety.
Criteria for making the right choice
